Accountable Communication For Leaders: 2-Day Basic Course
This leadership management training program teaches leaders and leadership teams a framework and methodology for thinking and acting more strategically with reports, peers, managers and each other. Prior to the workshop, we conduct interviews with selected members of the group to help us focus the leadership management training on dealing with the team's real issues and desired outcomes.
In this program, participants will:
Learn the three skills and five tools of communicating accountably and practice using them in personally challenging communication scenarios
Use a three-step process that addresses and reduces friction and reactivity between parties without muting the critical issues
Discover the primary behaviors that prevent their true effectiveness and commit to new productive behaviors
Diagram what is troubling or ineffective about the current environment in their team, division or company and create a practical, actionable outline of the new desired environment
Form new behavioral operating agreements for their team and choose behaviors they will change to support the new agreements
Understand why communication gets blocked in difficult, emotional situations and what they can personally do to remove the blocks and foster collaboration
The 2-Day Basic Course gives individuals and teams the tools, skills and processes they need to begin making real changes to their unproductive behaviors and invite others to do the same.
